This Cookie Policy explains how Trofsof Group B.V. uses cookies and similar technologies on getkomby.app and other web pages operated by Komby.

This policy relates to the website.

For the processing of personal data in the Komby app and on the website, we also refer to our Privacy Statement.

This English text is a translation of the Dutch original for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency, the Dutch version prevails.

1. Who is responsible?

The website getkomby.app is provided by:

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website can place on your device.

Cookies may be used, among other things, to:

Not every website uses all of these types of cookies.

3. Which cookies does Komby currently use?

The current MVP version of getkomby.app is designed to operate in as privacy-friendly a way as possible.

Komby currently does not use general third-party analytics or advertising cookies such as:

• Google Analytics;
• Meta Pixel;
• TikTok Pixel;
• Hotjar;
• Mixpanel;
• PostHog;
• similar marketing trackers.

Where getkomby.app uses only strictly necessary cookies or comparable storage, these are applied solely for functionality required to make the website work.

4. Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies or comparable technologies may be used for, for example:

• security;
• session management;
• fraud prevention;
• load balancing;
• remembering necessary technical preferences;
• protection against abuse;
• correct operation of forms;
• login functionality where available on the website.

For strictly necessary cookies, applicable law generally does not require prior opt-in consent, because the website cannot function properly without this technology.

5. Local storage and similar technology

In addition to traditional cookies, the website may use similar browser technology, such as:

• localStorage;
• sessionStorage;
• security tokens;
• browser cache;
• technical identifiers.

Where these are used solely to make a service you requested technically possible, we treat them as necessary technology.

6. No advertising tracking

Komby currently does not use cookies to track your behaviour on getkomby.app for:

• personalised advertising;
• retargeting;
• cross-site tracking;
• advertising profiles;
• sale of user profiles.

We do not sell cookie or browsing data to advertising networks.

7. No general web analytics

Komby currently does not use an external analytics service to systematically track visitor behaviour on getkomby.app.

We may however process necessary technical server information, for example for:

• security;
• error investigation;
• uptime;
• fraud prevention;
• performance.

This is not the same as building marketing profiles of visitors.

8. External services and links

getkomby.app may contain links to external services, such as:

• Apple App Store;
• social media;
• payment providers;
• support services.

When you visit an external website, that party may itself place cookies in accordance with its own cookie and privacy policy.

Komby has no control over cookies placed by independent external websites after you have left our website.

9. Sign-in via external providers

Where the website in future contains functionality such as:

• Sign in with Apple;
• Google Sign-In;

these providers may use cookies or similar technology that is necessary for their authentication service.

Which cookies are used depends on the technical implementation of that service.

10. Stripe and payments

Where getkomby.app contains a Stripe payment flow, Stripe may use technical cookies or similar technology for:

• payment processing;
• security;
• fraud prevention;
• checkout functionality.

These technologies may be necessary to execute a payment you requested.

Stripe may also process personal data in accordance with its own privacy terms.

11. Apple and purchases

In-app purchases via Apple take place primarily within Apple's own App Store / StoreKit infrastructure.

Cookies on getkomby.app are normally not necessary for this.

Apple may process its own technical data in accordance with Apple's privacy policy and platform terms.

12. When will we introduce a cookie banner?

As long as getkomby.app uses only:

• strictly necessary cookies;
• necessary technical storage;
• necessary security technology;

an extensive opt-in cookie banner may not be necessary.

If in future we introduce non-necessary cookies or comparable tracking, for example:

• analytics;
• advertising;
• behavioural tracking;
• marketing pixels;
• heatmaps;

we will seek appropriate prior consent where legally required.

Such cookies will then not be placed by default before consent has been given.

13. Withdrawing consent

Where Komby in future introduces a consent management system, users will be able to reopen their cookie preferences and withdraw previously given consent.

Withdrawal of consent does not have retroactive effect.

14. Browser settings

You can also manage cookies via your browser.

Depending on your browser you can:

• delete existing cookies;
• block cookies;
• block third-party cookies;
• clear storage on exit.

Where you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website may not function properly.

15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browsers may offer signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Because Komby currently does not use advertising tracking, the practical impact of these on getkomby.app is limited.

Where we introduce tracking in future for which such signals are legally relevant, we will reassess our use of them.

16. Retention periods

The retention period of necessary cookies or local storage depends on the technical purpose.

We aim not to retain these longer than necessary.

Session cookies may, for example, be deleted when a browser session ends.

Persistent technical cookies may remain for longer where necessary for security or a chosen preference.

Where we introduce additional cookies in future, relevant retention periods will be published in this policy or in our cookie settings.

17. Third-party cookies

Where third-party cookies are used in future, we will publish, where relevant, information about:

• provider;
• purpose;
• cookie category;
• retention period;
• any international transfer.

Non-necessary third-party cookies will not be activated without the required consent.

18. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may amend this Cookie Policy where:

• the website changes;
• new technology is added;
• we introduce analytics or marketing tools;
• legislation changes.

Where changes are material, we may provide additional information or seek new consent.
